Law Office Receptionist/Mail Clerk
Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking an engaging, problem-solving client service professional to serve in a full-time hybrid role of reception and mail clerk duties at our San Diego office. As the point of first impression for clients, the receptionist must demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills and a dedication to delivering superior client service. As a law firm with multiple practice areas, thousands of clients, and offices throughout California, we are seeking an organized, detail-oriented person who can maintain a professional and cheerful demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Successful candidates must be able to:
- Represent the firm with professionalism and enthusiasm;
- Handle a high-volume of calls on multiple phone lines with sensitivity and poise;
- Quickly identify and correctly route calls to appropriate persons and teams;
- Perform data-entry, administrative, and other special tasks from the reception desk;
- Receive deliveries, sort, and distribute incoming mail;
- Operating and maintaining all mail and shipping equipment;
- Scan, copy, and/or assist with other clerical tasks as assigned.
Preferred qualifications include: telephone switchboard proficiency, 3+ years’ experience as a receptionist in a professional environment, 1+ year experience working in a law firm, case management program experience, and fluency in English/Spanish. Minimum qualifications for this position include: multi-line telephone experience; 2+ years client or customer service experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills; computer literacy consistent with contemporary business standards (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams); proficiency in operating office equipment; general knowledge of mail systems (USPS, UPS, & FedEx). Physical requirements of the position include the ability to bend, reach, lift packages up to 25 lbs. and prolonged periods of sitting. This position is located in the San Diego office.
