This event will be part of the nationwide Black Family Wellness Expo, which aims to leverage its entire membership to raise awareness, to improve, and to save the outcomes of Black families through the reduction of health, educational, and economic disparities that negatively impact the quality of life in the Black community.

- Learn about the conditions that can shorten or impact the quality of life in the Black community from professional health care speakers, including Dental Health; Pre-natal and other newborn issues; Maternal health; Breast, prostate, and colon cancer; Kidney disease; Heart health; Blood Donation Information; and Mental Health including Suicide and Dementia
- Discover and obtain helpful resources, including: Blood Donations Drive; Organ/Tissue Signups; Dental Health Resources; Mental Health Resources; Suicide Prevention Resources; Dementia Resources; Caregiver Resources; Tax Preparation Information; Voter Registration; And More!
- Speak directly to health care professionals at their mobile Dental, Health, and Blood Donation units on site.
- This event will be open for the entire family -- from infants to senior citizens

The Jackson (MS) Chapter of The Links promotes and engages in educational, civic, and intercultural activities throughout the Jackson, MS Metropolitan Area. They have enriched the quality of life for students and families by fostering an appreciation of the arts in the school/community. Additionally, they have raised awareness about health and wellness issues and behavior. So far, they have served over 1500 participants across all programs.
