San Diego, CA – Singleton Schreiber is thrilled to welcome new partner Leslie A. Brueckner to the firm in the San Diego office. An accomplished attorney with more than three decades of appellate litigation experience, she joins the Motions, Writs, and Appeals practice after leading a prominent national law firm’s appellate practice group and nearly three decades at the national advocacy organization Public Justice, where she argued a wide range of federal and state constitutional, tort, statutory and consumer law matters in federal and state courts throughout the country, including winning numerous unanimous decisions from the California and United States Supreme Courts.

Leslie is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School and a summa cum laude graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. Leslie’s honors and awards include the Pro Bono Achievement Award from the Animal Legal Defense Fund; the Women’s Consumer Advocate of the Year Award from the Consumer Attorneys of California; the Appellate Advocacy Award from the Pound Civil Justice Institute for her 2017 California Supreme Court victory in T.H. v. Novartis (CA 2017) (which she handled with Ben Siminou), and the Dale Haralson Fallout Award from the Western Trial Lawyers Association. Leslie was also a Finalist for the Appellate Lawyer of the Year Award from the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.
