Who Are We

Injuries and Recoverable Damages in Sexual Assault Cases

Fees and Costs in Sexual Assault, Abuse and Trafficking Cases

Because we take sexual assault cases on a contingency-fee basis, our fee is a percentage of the client’s recovery. Clients do not pay us anything unless and until there is a recovery. Frequently Asked Questions

• What is sex trafficking?
  According to the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000, sex trafficking is “the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, obtaining, patronizing, or soliciting of a person for the purpose of a commercial sex act” Human trafficking occurs when someone uses force, fraud, or coercion against another adult to get that adult to perform acts of commercial sex. Human trafficking involving minors is any commercial sex involving a minor and does NOT need to include force, fraud, or coercion.
• What is labor trafficking?
  Labor trafficking involves using force, fraud, or coercion to get someone to provide labor, work, or  services. This often coincides with and can include sex trafficking.
• How long do I have to file against my abuser?
  Most cases have what is called a “statute of limitations” or a deadline in which to file a lawsuit against their perpetrator. Different types of cases and cases in different states have different statutes of limitations and deadlines. It is important to contact us right away to determine the statute of limitations in your case.
