Seema Kadaba

Seema Kadaba serves as Counsel in Singleton Schreiber’s Denver office, where she is a part of the environmental litigation, mass tort, personal injury, and wrongful death practice groups. She has a long history of advocacy for civil rights and social justice.  

Prior to joining Singleton Schreiber, Seema served as an associate both at Tucker Ellis, LLP and Berding & Weil, LLP, gaining experience as class action counsel and trial counsel. Seema is experienced in a wide range of civil litigation, including real estate, construction, personal injury, contractual claims, insurance disputes, and class action lawsuits throughout the state of California. She has litigated cases in Hawaii state court, several district courts, and has briefed intricate immigration matters before the Board of Appeals. She also previously served as a Judicial Intern in the Federal District Court for the District of Columbia.  

Seema has brought successful claims against the federal government under the Federal Tort Claims Act, Victims Protection Act, and Alien Tort Statute. Seema also founded Iustita Legal Center, a nonprofit focused on bridging the gap in access to justice for children with intellectual disabilities. Seema has worked with Bay Area Legal Aid, specifically focusing on domestic violence cases and the Violence Against Women Act, as well as Amnesty International and the Center for Gender and Refugee Studies.  

Outside of her work, Seema is involved in the legal community as a member of various organizations including the South Asian Bar Association. Seema received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She received her master’s in international development and juris doctor from American University.  

Seema lives in San Francisco’s East Bay with her husband, two boys, and two dogs, keeping her very busy. Aside from family, Seema enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, and taking part in volunteer work when possible!
