Yohania Santana

Yohania is a member of the Environmental Litigation practice group in Singleton Schreiber’s Denver office, where she is dedicated to advocating zealously for her clients and pursuing justice on their behalf.  

Before joining Singleton Schreiber, Yohania was an income partner in the Miami office of a national law firm, where she handled complex civil litigation matters for a wide range of clients and focused on post-judgment collection proceedings arising under U.S. anti-terrorism laws. Prior to her experience with that firm, Yohania began her legal career as a staff attorney at Dade Legal Aid, where she represented survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, dating violence, and stalking in civil injunction proceedings.  

While attending law school, Yohania was a member of the Moot Court Board, where she was a finalist in her school’s Intramural Moot Court Competition and competed in the Jerome Prince Memorial Evidence Competition. She was also a co-lead project coordinator for the Karnes Pro Bono Project, where she assisted Central American mothers and children who had been detained after seeking refugee status in the U.S. with getting released.  

In her spare time, Yohania enjoys traveling, cooking Cuban cuisine, attending stand-up comedy shows, and spending time with her dog.
