After obtaining her Bachelor of Laws degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University, Gigi Vernon began her legal career as a law clerk working primarily in San Diego, CA. She clerked and gained valuable experience in the areas of family and criminal law. As a law student, she interned for Federal Defenders of San Diego where she worked on immigration and criminal law matters. In 2021, Ms. Vernon was admitted to practice in the California State courts. Currently, Ms. Vernon represents victims of the Camp Fire, Thomas Fire, Woolsey Fire, Kincade Fire, North Bay Fires, and Butte Fire.
Ms. Vernon enjoys spending time with family and friends, she is an active leader in her church, and loves to travel.
