Overview

Jennifer Scott is a member of our firm’s Fire Litigation practice group, where she represents victims throughout California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Mexico, Oregon, and Washington. 

Before joining Singleton Schreiber, Ms. Scott worked for an Am Law 100 firm, where she primarily concentrated on pursuing and maximizing claims in complex antitrust settlements on behalf of a broad range of national and international corporations. She has significant experience in antitrust and competition law, specifically in financial product manipulation. 

Ms. Scott earned a B.A. in psychology with an emphasis in industrial and organizational psychology from San Diego State University in 2007. She graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2011. 

In 2012, Ms. Scott began volunteering in the book club at the Girls’ Rehabilitation Facility in San Diego. She now serves as a board member of the San Diego literacy nonprofit organization, Juvenile Court Book Club (JCBC), which operates volunteer-run, innovative literacy programs in San Diego’s youth detention facilities. The organization supplies books, organizes book clubs, and provides tutoring for children who are detained pre-disposition or attending post-detention schools. 

Ms. Scott is a member of CAOC, CASD, and the AAJ. She is admitted to practice in the state of California and in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Central Districts of California. 

Ms. Scott is a San Diego native who enjoys hiking with her family, cooking, and reading. She also performs work on a pro bono basis, including matters involving domestic violence and adoptions.
