Jonna Lothyan

Jonna Lothyan is a member of our motions, writs, and appeals division. An accomplished litigator and appellate attorney, Ms. Lothyan began her practice as an appellate attorney and civil litigator for one of the nation’s largest defense firms. After spending years representing some of the nation’s largest companies, Ms. Lothyan joined our firm because she wants to fight for the things she cares about. She uses her experience and passion to fight for the compensation that her clients deserve. She has valuable insight on how insurance companies, large entities, and defense counsel operate, and she uses this insight and her ability to develop unique legal arguments in seeking justice and the best outcome for her clients.

Ms. Lothyan has experience handling cases throughout state and federal courts during all phases, including pre-litigation evaluation, investigation, discovery, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal. She also obtained favorable results as first and second chair in several jury trials. Post-trial, Ms. Lothyan has successfully appealed and managed appellate cases at all levels of the judiciary.

Ms. Lothyan graduated cum laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2014. Before attending law school, she obtained her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Chapman University.

She is admitted to practice in all California Courts of Appeal, the U.S, Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the California Supreme Court.

Jonna enjoys hiking and paddle boarding with her husband and two kids.
