Overview

Shannon Whitaker is a member of our Personal Injury and Wrongful Death practice group. Before joining Singleton Schreiber, Ms. Whitaker litigated catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, sexual assault, and sexual abuse cases at a personal injury firm in San Diego. 

Ms. Whitaker earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. After working in the legal field for several years, she graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she served as the president of internal affairs for the Consumer Attorneys of the University of San Diego and was selected as the student commencement speaker for the classes of 2020 and 2021. As a law student, she externed for the Honorable Andrew G. Schopler of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.  

She is the San Diego regional chair for the New Lawyers Division of the Consumer Attorneys of California and a member of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego. 

She is admitted to practice in the state of California. 

Ms. Whitaker loves creating and enjoying art; in her free time, she can be found painting, practicing calligraphy, or strolling through a museum.
