Overview

Katie Llamas is a Counsel member of both our Personal Injury and Wrongful Death and our Sexual Assault practice groups and has been representing victims of personal injury since 2020. A former criminal prosecutor for the City of San Diego, she is an experienced trial attorney who is passionate about seeking justice. 

Ms. Llamas developed a keen interest in representing victims when she served as the Coordinator of Victim Services for the San Diego Family Justice Center, where she protected people affected by domestic violence and human trafficking. After earning her law degree at California Western School of Law in 2014, she continued to fight for justice as a criminal prosecutor. Ms. Llamas holds a bachelors degree in Human Development and Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, and a master’s degree in forensic psychology from Argosy University. 

As a volunteer with Free to Thrive, Ms. Llamas helps survivors of human trafficking clear their criminal records. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Magdalene’s, an anti-human-trafficking organization based in Florida, and previously served on the Board of Directors for Florida’s Circuit 1 Human Trafficking Task Force.
